Chef Owen (Jinlin Liu)
is renowned for his expertise in "New Chinese" cuisine. With 26 years of culinary experience, he has served as Sous Chef at Hyatt hotels in Xi'an, Hong Kong, and Ningbo, Banquet Chef at Xi'an W Hotel under Marriott International, Chinese Cuisine Head Chef at Westin Xi'an, and Executive Chef for Swisstouches in China.
In 2016, Chef Owen was honored to represent the Westin Hotel at a Chinese culinary cultural exchange event in Atlanta. During this experience, he discovered the stark differences between American Chinese cuisine and its evolution in China. Observing the lack of innovation in Chinese cuisine within the U.S. market, he felt a deep sense of responsibility and made a pivotal decision to return to America. His mission became clear: to infuse new life and creativity into Chinese cuisine and pave the way for a new era of culinary excellence.
Chef Owen is passionate about blending traditional Chinese cooking techniques with Western culinary elements, creating innovative fusion dishes that redefine the modern Chinese dining experience.
Chef Lisa (Chen Li)
is celebrated for her expertise in "Modern Chinese Desserts." She has held prominent roles, including Pastry Chef at the Westin Xi’an under Marriott, Sous Chef at Wyndham Xi’an, and Chef de Pâtisserie at Shangri-La Xi’an. She is also the founder of her personal studio, "KiKokake," where she channels her passion for innovation and artistry. Chef Lisa is dedicated to blending Chinese and Western pastry techniques, creating desserts that redefine the modern Chinese palate with a fresh and unique perspective.
